World Health Organization is convening the thirtieth meeting of health ministers of South-East Asia Region at Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from 4 to 7 September to discuss key health issues in the Region. National experiences and strategies relating to the political, social and economic dimensions of health will be discussed in detail at the meeting.

The meeting will be followed by the 65th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia. The Regional Committee is a statutory body comprising the Member States and meets once a year to review progress and regional implications of the World Health Assembly resolutions.
